I am the Lead Pastor at HFA Church and have served in ministry since the spring of 2005. I have been working full-time at HFA Church since January 2015, serving as both youth pastor and associate pastor. In 2021, I received an ordination credential from the Assemblies of God and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Leadership through Ascent College. I have served as a character coach through the fellowship of Christian Athletes with Turner Ashby High School; coached girls’ basketball at Cornerstone Christian School and love playing drums. My real passion is leadership, where I focus on the empowerment and development of others through training and mentorship. Over my fifteen-plus-year career as a youth pastor, I directed students and leaders toward personal growth. I have seen many former students pursue solid leadership positions in their careers or bio-vocation.  My goal as a pastor is to direct individuals into a deep relationship with Jesus. I want to empower our leaders to use the talents and gifting’s that God has given to them.

I have served HFA since 2006.  I began in No Limitz Youth working with the  worship team.  Over the years I transitioned to part-time worship leader and recently became fulltime Music/Media Director.  I met my husband, Steven,  at HFA in 2011 and married later that year.    We have 3 children, Skylar, River, and Barrett.  I’m often seen chasing them after a Sunday morning service.   I am a sucker for a good chick flick, Mexican food, and nerds (the candy….just to clarify).  I love the Lord and am passionate about worship. Worship is more than a song for me, it is a lifestyle.  I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and this church community.

I was born and raised in Harrisonburg, VA.  I helped run a concrete business for the past 28 years with my husband.  I currently live in Rockingham County with my husband Russell and our 3 fur babies, Bella, Abbie, and Kinzie.
