Holy Spirit Weekend

May 10, 2026    Pastor Greg Hubbard

What does it truly mean to be Spirit-filled? This powerful message takes us beyond the surface-level understanding of Pentecostal experience into the quieter, more transformative aspects of Spirit baptism. Drawing from Acts chapter 6, we discover that the early church didn't just look for the loudest worshipers or the most enthusiastic participants when they needed servants. Instead, they sought people known to be full of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, faith, grace, and power. These four marks become our roadmap for authentic spiritual living. We're challenged to consider that being Pentecostal isn't measured by how high we lift our hands or how loud we sing, but by whether we're actively winning souls and walking in divine wisdom. The story of Stephen delivering bread and soup to widows becomes a beautiful illustration of how supernatural power flows through ordinary acts of service when combined with wisdom, faith, and grace. Perhaps most convicting is the reminder that our witness in everyday moments—whether at a coffee shop or in traffic—can either honor or dishonor the gospel. True Spirit-filled living means walking with such grace that even in difficult encounters, we represent Christ well. This isn't about perfection but about allowing the Holy Spirit to transform how we treat people, make decisions, and carry ourselves in a world that desperately needs to see authentic Christianity in action.
